Peru: Through the Lens

Peru: Through the Lens in February 2012 was a resounding success!

Peru Through the Lens gave me the opportunity to give back to a community by taking family portraits — a definite highlight of the trip for me! I also developed a passion for photography. The tips and pointers from Shari and fellow travellers were fantastic. Thinking about what experience, landscape or the person you are trying to capture in your photos makes you more aware of your surroundings at a deeper level which enhanced my overall travel and cultural experience.” — Andrea

Peru Through the Lens was a trip of a life time. I will never forget my home stay families, or the feeling when I first saw Machu Picchu. I would recommend this trip to anyone with a love of travel and photography (beginner or pro) because it’s a once in a lifetime experience!” — Kristie

Shari Tucker Photography — Your Story. Captured is working on Peru Through the Lens 2 — tentatively scheduled for April 2013. This is an amazing opportunity to explore Peru’s people and landscape — through your lens.

The idea is to be surrounded by people who love adventure and photography, to have just enough structure to be safe/organized, but lots of free time to explore Peru and capture beautiful photographs.

All of this, AND the expertise of a well established professional photographer at your disposal for the whole trip. Tips, tricks, shop talk and lots of opportunities to be fully immersed in your passion. Also throwing in a couple of official workshops to encourage you to learn and use new skills.

If Machu Picchu is on your travel bucket list and you are up for an adventure, start saving now and add your name to the list to keep up to date on plans as they unfold!
