The Young & Fearless Story

The Young & Fearless Story

Young & Fearless was created in 2008 when I was asked to submit a photograph to a national traveling exhibit called Cancer Connections, by an Ontario organization called
Photosensitive. In my quest to find someone who had been affected by Cancer to photograph, I discovered a new insight from a Cancer Survivor’s perspective and decided to create an awareness project to show people that Cancer can be Survived!

You can purchase the Young & Fearless — Inspiration of Cancer Survivors coffee table book through local independent book stores in Nova Scotia, through Amazon.com, Chapters/Indigo and Coles stores throughout Atlantic Canada, in Quebec and Ontario. Also online here. The book features the beautiful photographs and inspirational stories of 30 cancer survivors who are all 30 years and younger.

A portion of proceeds from all book sales are donated back to The Lodge That Gives, a home away from home for families and cancer patients undergoing treatment in Halifax, NS.

Now entering it’s fourth year, the project is moving forward in an International respect. The next instalment in this extraordinary work from the heart is a collaboration with
Coalition for Kids International.
